How to Choose an SCBA Mask Cover
The right mask cover starts with the exact facepiece model and the job you need it to do. A cover made for one platform should never be assumed to fit another.
Start with compatibility
Confirm whether your facepiece is a Scott C5, Scott AV-3000, or MSA G1. The lens profile and attachment points are different, so the product page compatibility line should match the facepiece in your hand.
Protection or blackout training
A standard leather cover helps protect the facepiece during storage and transport. A blackout cover is intended for controlled training where removing visual cues is part of the drill. Follow your equipment manufacturer guidance and workplace procedures.
No stitching versus stitched backing
No-stitching versions do not include a suede backing. When stitching is selected, a black suede backing is added and stitched onto the leather cover for a more finished, layered construction.
