Preparing Artwork for Laser Engraving

Clean, high-contrast artwork produces the most predictable engraving. Vector files are ideal, but a large, sharp raster image can also be workable.

Best file types

SVG, AI, and print-ready PDF files preserve clean curves and edges. High-resolution PNG or JPG files are also accepted when the artwork is not blurry, compressed, or photographed at an angle.

Simplify very fine detail

Tiny text, thin outlines, gradients, and photographic shading may not reproduce clearly at small sizes. A clean one-color mark usually adapts more clearly to leather.

Proof before production

Uploaded artwork is stored privately. When a proof is required, the customer receives an online approval page and production does not proceed until the proof is approved.
